WHAT’S UP
Yah I know it’s technically Saturday but we’re just going to pretend that I didn’t forget to schedule this post for yesterday…
RECENT PURCHASES
Given that I often make a coffee or hot chocolate and forget about it, I thought an insulated coffee mug would be a good investment for me so I picked up this one from Indigo. I love the little illustration on the front and it works perfectly!
I’ve been eyeing up the Kristin Ess hairline from well.ca for a few months now, ever since I saw A Brash Attitude review one of her products. I finally placed an order for her The One Purple Shampoo and The One Signature Shampoo + Conditioner. Reviews coming soon!
These Essence Melted Chrome Eyeshadows are seriously impressive for $6 CAD; they’re kind of a cross between a shimmer and glitter shadow but the glitter is micro-fine and there’s very little fallout with them. Such a great drugstore find!
You know how much I love sweatshirts and after receiving one of these Buffalo pullovers for Christmas and falling in love with them, I couldn’t resist adding two more (the blue and gray) to my closet. They’re super comfy but they’re not too thick so they’ll be great to wear in the Spring and fall as well!
CURRENTLY COVETING
I’m looking for a pouff for my office and I really like this one but I do not like that price tag! I’m hoping I can find one for cheaper at Homesense.
Skincare is the last thing I need to buy right now but I’ve heard such good things about this First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Oat & Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil. I actually put a bit on my hand when I was at Sephora and was amazed at how quickly it absorbed!
Keds x Rifle Paper Co sneakers – I LOVE them!
IN THE KITCHEN
This is the best lasagna recipe I’ve ever tried; we made it last weekend and everyone was blown away with how good it was. I can’t wait to make it again!

READING CORNER
This is one of the best books I’ve read in a while; it’s kind of a drama/thriller that was full of unexpected twists and turns and it kept me guessing from the first page. Don’t even get me started on the ending! Definitely recommend!
I have a little less than zero interest in politics and biographies but I made an exception for Michelle Obama’s memoir. This was a fantastic glimpse into her life way before and during her time at the White House.
What I’m reading next:
American Wife – Curtis Sittenfeld

Have a wonderful weekend!
Hahaha I saw that Marie Kondo vs Fyre Festival meme the other day and I laughed so hard. Especially because I watched that Fyre Festival documentary on Netflix recently…that one about everyone making shit up at the office is so hilarious!
Omg those Keds. I WANT!
I’m really interested in Becoming. It must have been a really insightful read into the Obama family!
