As I do every year, today I’m sharing what I received for Christmas + my Birthday!
I’ve been wanting this palette for a while so I finally just put it on my Christmas list; I’ve only used it a few times so far but I absolutely love it!
This goat milk soap made Oprah’s Favourite Things for 2018 so you know it has to be good; I’ve yet to try my bar (I was waiting to photograph it) but I’m looking forward to testing this out (it smells amazing!).
Root Beer Float Candle
This smells exactly like a root beer float – I can’t wait to burn it!
This bracelet is made of white howlite and three lava stones; it comes with a small bottle of essential oil that you sprinkle on the lava stones and it diffuses the oil throughout the day.
I have a few pairs of these and I love them; I get really cold sitting at my desk during the day (especially in the Winter) and these definitely help keep my feet and legs warm.
Mr. PRL bought me a snow globe last year and somehow when I unpacked it this year, it had broken. So this was it’s replacement – it plays Deck the Halls.
This was a gift to both me and Mr. PRL; we both grew up with Nintendo and this includes 30 classic games that we used to play including Super Mario Brothers and Zelda.
I love my Kobo reader but the one I had was quite old so Mr. PRL picked me up a new one. I plan on reading a lot more this year so this will get a lot of use.
This is my second piece of Steel Daisy jewelry (I received a necklace last year as well); this one is a cute little fox pendant that I love.
I love sweatshirts and this one is definitely a new fave. It’s super soft and comfy and it has the cutest little graphic on it – I want the one in blue now too! Consider me officially a member of the Varsity Lazy Division. 😉
I have a bit of a blanket/throw obsession – I have so many at home but I’m always looking for the coziest one. My search has ended with this – this is the coziest, softest BEST blanket I’ve ever owned. It’s so perfect for curling up on the couch with because it’s the perfect width and length (it covers my feet) but it’s not too bulky or thick but it’s still warm.
I know these retail for well over $100 at Nordstrom, but you can get the exact same thing at Nordstrom Rack for around $60. And I know $60 seems like a lot for a throw but I totally think it’s worth it!
As if all of this wasn’t enough, I also received pyjamas, some gift cards to the mall, Sephora and Chapters and a ton of chocolate. I was seriously spoiled this year and am of course grateful to have received such thoughtful and generous gifts!
What did you get for Christmas?
