This & That Fridays – January 4

How was everyone’s Christmas/holiday season?  Mine was good – filled with lots of food, naps, family time and being generally lazy!  I’m sad that it’s over but it’s probably a good thing – my clothes are definitely a little snug!

Here’s everything (beauty-wise) what I picked up on Boxing Day!  So far, I’m really enjoying the Lanolips balm and the Lavender Fix Plus spray.

I also picked up this super cozy velour hoodie from The Bay on Boxing Day; it’s so perfect with leggings because it’s oversized but it does fit big so I did size down to a Small (normally a medium).

My parents bought us a coffee maker on Boxing Day and I’ve been loving it.  It’s the Hamilton Beach Flexbrew Single Serve and you can either use k-cups or ground coffee so I love the flexibility it has!  I didn’t think it would be easy to find decaf (via swiss-water method) k-cups but there’s actually more out there than I realized (I’m currently using Tim Horton’s version).

I’m trying to decide what kind of planner I want this year; last year I had an Ecolo that worked pretty well but I’m considering a Bando this year because #stickers (also I love the colour of this one).

I almost picked up this sweater from The Gap on Boxing Day (it was 40% off) but I was concerned about it pilling.  I checked the reviews and a few people have confirmed that – it sucks though because it’s such a flattering fit and SO soft!

Has anyone tried The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution?  I’m so tempted to order it as I’d like to incorporate a toner into my routine.

Ikea meatballs at home?  Definitely testing out!

All We Ever Wanted – Emily Giffin

I basically love every book Emily Giffin has ever written and this was no exception – I stayed up ’til midnight two nights in a row reading it.  The subject matter of this was very relevant to the Me Too movement and I found it interesting.
