Spring Sephora Sale – Shopping List

It’s time again for another Sephora sale!  It feels like we just had one doesn’t it?  I kind of wish Sephora would space their sales out a bit more – or perhaps just have more sales.  This is my first sale where I’m not Rouge but so far, I haven’t been missing the supposed benefits that come along with spending that kind of money each year.  And based on how things are looking, I’m probably going to be sticking with being a VIB vs. a Rouge – I only have three things that I definitely plan on picking up for this sale which is definitely on the low side for me.  Of course that could change the minute I step in store but for now, here’s what’s on my shopping list (including maybes and probably-nots!):

1. IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel

I’m buying this because I received a sample of this in a Sephora favourites kit I picked up at the last Sephora sale and I love this stuff!  My hair is stick-straight but I like to use it on the second and third day after I curl my hair as it adds some volume, fullness and definition to my curls.  Plus it smells amazing!

2.  Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow

I’m blaming Polished & Inspired for this one; I had zero desire to pick any of these up until I read her post.  Right now I’m leaning towards the shade Kitten but this will likely be an in-store decision.

3.  The Ordinary Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F

I’ve been dying to try something from the Ordinary (despite their bonkers CEO) in addition to incorporating a Vitamin C serum into my everyday routine so I think this might be the one I start with.  Here’s hoping it’s still in stock by the time Friday rolls around!

4.  Peter Thomas Roth Meet Your Mask

I’ve yet to meet a Peter Thomas Roth mask that I haven’t liked and this is a great way to discover a few more at a reasonable price.

5.  Sephora Favourites Iconic Hair

This Sephora favourites kit is packed with some great products that I’ve tried and loved (i.e. Living Proof’s Prime Style Extender), ones that I’ve been dying to try (i.e. Bumble & Bumble’s Hairdressers Invisible Oil Primer) and some I’ve never heard of but sound really interesting (i.e. Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt).

6.  Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Full-Coverage Concealer

I’ve heard good things about this concealer and I’d like to find a replacement for my beloved Tarte Shape Tape concealer.  However I currently have two, half-full tubes of Shape Tape on the go so I should probably just use those up first.

7.  Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow palette

Okay I seriously DO NOT NEED another eyeshadow palette – so far I’ve added three to my collection since January and that’s ridiculous.  But….I really want to a palette from Anastasia and this looks so pretty.  And it looks a hundred times more wearable than the Modern Renissance.  So we’ll see.

8.  Ole Henrikson Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer

I’ve been testing out a sample size of this moisturizer over the last few months and I’m in love with it – it makes my foundation apply flawlessly.

9.  BareMinerals Gen Nude Power Blush

After working through my Monthly Makeup Focus and Project Pans this and last year I’ve realized how long a blush can last so I definitely don’t need to add another to my collection – but I must admit I’ve been eyeing these up since they launched a month or so ago!

10.  Peter Thomas Roth Mask-A-Holic Kit

I’m probably not going to spend $92 on this but it is a fantastic value!  The Cucumber Gel mask is amazing.

11.  NARSissist Wanted Cheek palette

One day I’m going to splurge and pick up one of these cheek palettes – every year I look longingly at them but I can’t bite the bullet; even though these are actually a really good value, I just can’t fathom spending this much on a blush palette.  Someday!

12.  Fenty Beauty Body Lava Body Luminizer

There is literally no way I’m spending $70 for a body luminizer but if you’ve seen the Instagram video of Rhianna applying this, you understand why this made the list – it made her skin look amazing!

What are you picking up at the Sephora sale?

The sale started last weekend for me, and that Soft Glam palette, man…throughout the weekend I put it into my cart…then took it out…then put it back in…and took it out…rinse and repeat 10 more times. I feel the exact same way as you – it’s just another neutral palette I don’t need but I WANT IT BAD.

Oooh boy, I hope the The Ordinary vitamin C serum you want is still in stock by the time the sale rolls around! The Ordinary always flies off the shelves – I rarely see their stuff in stock at Sephora, and that’s on no-sale days!

I am loving all of your hair care choices! I’ve never been into high end hair care, but recently I’ve been determined to get beachy waves in my hair this summer, and have been obsessively looking at all of the hair products at Sephora!

Re: the Stila Shimmer and Glow – you’re welcome! LOL.

Yah the Ordinary serum was sold out that morning. Grrr. I ended up buying it off Well.ca anyway, it seems like Sephora is no longer carrying them?

Yes to beachy waves – that’s my go-to style all year round! 🙂

Haha you soooo do not need that ABH Soft Glam palette! 😆
I didn’t buy anything from the sale… today’s the last day and I’m still considering my options. I wanted a limited edition packaging of the Givenchy Prisme powder but it went out of stock as soon as the Rouge sale started, ugh. I honestly don’t NEED anything! Maybe I’ll just wait for the 20% off sale in the Fall.
