25 Christmas Gifts for $25 or Less

As I say every year, I can’t believe another Christmas is yet again upon us!  Why does December just fly by?  There never seems to be enough hours, days, weeks in this month to get everything done that I want to get done.

One of the most challenging things about Christmas, for me at least, is shopping.  I love shopping for gifts but I also want to make sure I’m not just picking up any old thing for my gift recipients.  I find gift guides invaluable for ideas but sometimes they can be a bit overwhelming and unrealistic.  So, this year I decided to keep mine simple and budget-friendly; meaning that you will be able to find something for pretty much anyone on your list and everything is under $25 (Canadian)!  Let’s be honest, the holidays can be a very expensive time of year and aside from celebrities and millionaires, no one has an unlimited budget. Whether you’re looking for gift inspiration or a few stocking stuffer ideas I’ve got you covered below!

  1. PopSocket – $14.95 CAD
I’m a new Popsocket owner but I honestly don’t know how I lived without one until now!  You mount this to the back of your phone or phone case and it acts as a stand, gripper and/or an “earbud management system”.  They come in a variety of colours and patterns so you can find one that suits anyones tastes!
  2. House of Marley Earbuds – $24.95 CAD
Noise-canceling ear buds are a necessity for me – I have a set in my travel bag, purse and nightstand.  I love these House of Marley ones because they come in a variety of really cool colours.
  3. Charging Cables – $16.99 CAD
Have you ever had a phone charging cable that’s longer than 3 feet?  I hadn’t until about a month ago when I ordered this exact set from Amazon and I realized what I’ve been missing out on.  Let’s be honest, the Apple charging cords are crap – they’re expensive, too short and fray quickly.  These on the other hand, are very reasonably priced and seem way more durable!
  4. Charging Cable Key Chain – $10.99 CAD
I love to bring a portable charger with me when I’m out and about because my iPhone seems to die quicker with every operating system update (thanks Apple!).  However they’re often quite heavy and bulky; that’s why I threw one of these on my Christmas wish list.  These can easily be clipped to a bag or purse but you’d never know it’s actually a charger!
  5. Mont Bleu Glass Foot File – $19.95 CAD
I received one of these crystal foot files from Mont Bleu earlier this year and I fell in love with it; it works better than any other foot file I’ve used!*
  6. Saje’s The Sleep Duo – $24.95 CAD
Because what adult in this world doesn’t need more sleep?  This set includes their Sleep Well Remedy and a cozy eye mask; Saje makes some of the best self-care products I’ve ever tried.
  7. Sephora Lavender Foot Mask – $6 CAD
Speaking of self-care, these foot masks are AMAZING!  They leave your feet so soft and smooth and are super relaxing.  I can’t recommend these enough.
  8. Saje Peppermint Halo – $14.95 CAD
This is a perfect gift for anyone who suffers from occasional or regular headaches; it doesn’t always get rid of them but it definitely helps relieve tension and take the edge off.  I reach for this often.
  9. Herbivore Coconut Milk Bath Soak – $22 CAD
Herbivore is one of my favourite new brands and this bath soak sounds fantastic; I have always found milk baths very nourishing, calming and hydrating, which is exactly what we all need at this time of year.
  10. HBC Olympic Team Collection Mittens – $15 CAD
  11. HBC Olympic Team Collection Toque – $25 CAD
Are you like me and completely oblivious to the fact that the Winter Olympics are coming up THIS February?  Olympic Gear is a fun way to show support our athletes and look super stylish while doing so.
  12. Bite Beauty Agave Kisses Set – $22.50 CAD
In my opinion, this is one of the best sets that Sephora put out for the holidays this year; it includes minis of their lip mask, balm and scrub.  A perfect set to combat dryness and flakiness that Winter brings.
  13. Evoolution Traditional 18 Year Balsamic Vinegar – $14 CAD (200 mL)
  14. Evoolution Butter Olive Oil – $14 CAD (200 mL)
  15. Evoolution Bacon Sea Salt – $6 CAD (45 mL)
One of my favourite local businesses I discovered this year was Evoolution; they specialize in olive oils and vinegars that are sourced from around the world but are bottled on-site.  Both the oil and vinegar I linked above are two of my absolute favourites and how can you go wrong with Bacon anything (although there are many other flavours of salt to choose from!); unfortunately they only have physical shops in Alberta but you can place an order online.
  16. Sugar Fina Party Penguins – $10.95 CAD
Yes, Sugarfina makes some expensive candy but I guarantee it’ll be the best you’ve ever eaten!  I really wanted to try these peach-flavoured penguins this year but they were all sold out at the location closest to me!
  17. The Joy of Painting Bob Ross Calendar – $18.99 CAD
If you don’t like Bob Ross we can’t be friends; I love that an entire new generation has become fans of him, enough so that they’ve launched entire line of Bob Ross branded products.   How can you possibly go wrong with some Happy Little Trees to keep you company at your desk or office?
  18. David’s Tea 18 oz Steeper – $20 CAD
  19. David’s Tea Dessert Teas Kit – $25 CAD
Tea was something I drank a lot more of in 2017 and I definitely discovered some favourites from David’s Tea (Movie Night was one of them).  I own and love my Steeper, especially during the Summer for making cold-brewed tea.  The Dessert Teas kit includes some delicious-sounding teas including Caramel Shortbread and Chocolate Macaroon.
  20. Indigo Good Vibes Only Print – $20 CAD
Prints are such an easy and fun way to personalize any space, not only with the print itself but with the frame you choose for it. Indigo has a wide selection of them to suit anyones personality.
  21. Brie Baker – $20 CAD
Who doesn’t like cheese, specifically Brie, specifically Baked Brie?  Baked Brie makes the world a better place.
  22. David’s Tea Cherry Nordic Mug – $23 CAD
These Nordic Mugs are great because they can be used as just a regular mug for coffee or other hot drinks but they also come with a stainless steel infuser for loose leaf teas.  Plus they’re a little larger than your average mug (16 oz) but still sleek and comfortable to hold.
  23. Monogram Cheese Board – $24 CAD (on sale for $7!)
Even if you don’t like cheese, one of these could easily be repurposed as a cutting or serving board – and who’d ever guess that it only cost you $7?
  24. Stadium Throw Blanket – $24.50 CAD
I have a bit of an odd addiction to blankets and throws but even so, I think they make great gifts!  This one is great because it’s carrying strap makes it easy to throw in your car for emergencies or events like picnics or concerts.
  25. 2018 Leatheresque 12 Month Planner – $22 CAD
In the age where everyone uses their phone for everything, I don’t think you can underestimate the importance of having a good paper planner.  I personally like to write things down and I know a lot of others feel the same way.

Happy shopping!

Dislcaimer: This is not a sponsored post; I included this product in my gift guide because I truly love it and believe it would make a great gift!

I’m also wildly obsessed with popsockets. Not quite sure how I functioned before.

I love all these picks! And the Bob Ross calendar idea is brilliant. Who doesn’t love Bob Ross?!

I think I may need to gift myself those earbuds you mentioned.

Your $25 or less Christmas gift list has quickly turned into ideas of stuff to get for myself…

Oh my gosh, how cute is that charging cable! I find my portable chargers always get lost in the abyss that is my purse, so this is perfect!

The Herbivore bath soak sounds so luxurious. Definitely great for an at-home spa night.

That Bob Ross calendar! I need it in my life. I recently rediscovered him on YouTube a few months ago and sat there for hours watching him paint, LOL. Our company usually gives us some pretty sweet calendars but have been skimping out in the last few years due to the downturn – if we don’t get one for 2018 then I’m totally getting the Bob Ross calendar for myself!

I was just looking at that David’s Tea dessert tea set the other day, so many of them sound soooo good. Debating whether to buy it or not…my husband doesn’t really drink tea.

Hey I picked up one of those charging cables at Indigo for $10 about a week and a half ago – it looks exactly the same as the one on Amazon except they only had black. It looks so cute on my purse and works really well! 🙂

I looked for the Bob Ross calendar but couldn’t find it after Christmas unfortunately – so I ended up with Goats in Trees! Still good! 🙂
