WHAT’S UP
We’ve binge watched a few series lately that I absolutely loved – Big Little Lies on HBO (they NEED to make a second season of this!) and Ozark (starts slow but stick with it – it gets better!) and Atypical (I loved that this was a mix of comedy and drama!).
I received a nice surprise on my doorstep yesterday – the BC Living Simply Beautiful Editors Box. It’s filled with beautiful things and I think would make a great gift – I’ll have an unboxing up next week for it so stay tuned.
RECENT PURCHASES
I picked up the Fenty Beauty Lip Gloss Bomb a couple weeks ago and I wasn’t sure how I felt about it at first but it’s growing on me. The formula is top notch so I can’t wait to see what other shades she comes out with.
I’ve also been testing out elf’s Oil Free Flawless Foundation; so far I have to say I’m pretty impressed but I do have to be careful about which moisturizer I use under it to avoid getting too oily.
Lastly I’ve also been using the Physician Formula’s #InstaReady concealer and although it’s early, I’m pretty impressed with it so far – it’s super full coverage and blends nicely. The only drawback – as it is with almost all PF products, is their shade range sucks.

YOUTUBER OF THE MOMENT
I’m a new subscriber of Katie’s and I’ve been binge-watching her videos like crazy. I like her sense of style and her personality – specifically because she just seems like a normal person. Lately I’ve been losing interest for a variety of reasons in some of the bigger Youtubers I follow so I’ve been in search of some smaller Youtubers to follow – if you have any suggestions for me, please leave them below!

Oh gosh, I watched the first episode of Big Little Lies after finishing the book, and then totally forgot about the show when we got back from our honeymoon! Need to start up on it again. I also tried to watch Ozark but couldn’t get into it…short attention span ?
That blush palette looks gorgeous! Seems like it would be a good choice for fair-skinned gals.

If you can stick with Ozark past the first couple episodes, I think you’d enjoy it. We watched the first episode and were totally meh about it but it gets much better as time goes on. I can’t wait for the next season!
Even though I knew exactly what was going to happen in Big Little Lies I absolutely loved the show; I thought the casting was fantastic, they all suited their characters so well.
