what’s going on with me…
I was working away all week on my blog – not on posts but on getting my image issue fixed. A while back all of the pictures pre-self hosting disappeared and I’ve been trying to fix it off and on for months but could never figure out what the problem was. I even reached out to my host and the wordpress.org support forums but in all honesty, both of those were pretty much a waste of time. I didn’t feel like anyone really tried too hard to help me out. My last ditch effort was to reactivate my old blog, change the theme, export everything (by month because the files were too big to upload all in one), wipe my new blog clean and import it all. I can’t remember where I came across that suggestion but I’m so glad I did because it worked! Pretty proud of myself for figuring it out and fixing it all on my own. #yayme I also designed myself a new blog header and I’m pretty happy with that too. All in all, it felt like a productive week!
have you seen/tried/heard?…
When I was in Sephora last weekend I was testing out some of Replica’s fragrances and came across this one. I didn’t try it out because I already had a few perfumes on me at the time but I really want to see what it smells like on me and how well it lasts. I feel like it could go either way but you can’t deny it’s interesting!
Did you hear that Ulta is now shipping to Canada? You have to spend $100 to get free shipping but as if that’ll be hard to do. Check your prices though – a lot of products are WAY more expensive on there compared to other sites – even with free shipping!
If I had any musical ability, I would totally do this too! Maggie has separation anxiety when we leave her home alone so I’m going to try leaving this on for her and see if it helps. I love that he did this!
Keeping my sweatshirt addiction going by picking up this last weekend. If I could replace “champagne” with “vodka” it’d be perfect but close enough.
I recently went blonder for Spring and since my hair tends to turn brassy really easily, I picked up this shampoo (and it’s corresponding conditioner) to help combat that. I’ve used it once and I’ve already noticed a difference so here’s hoping.
I was in need of a new daily moisturizer so I thought I’d give this one a try given that it caters to sensitive skin. I like how moisturizing it is and the fact that it’s pretty lightweight BUT every time I use it I’m left with a chemical/metallic aftertaste – and I swear I’m not eating it. That’s weird right?
These look so pretty and perfect for Summer!
I always end up with a sore neck and shoulders whenever I wear halter top style bathing suits so I really like the look of this one. Of course they don’t seem to have them in-store though because why would they?
youtuber of the moment
I just recently started watching Samantha and I’ve really been enjoying her videos. She’s Canadian so she gets bonus points for that, but I also appreciate how balanced she is. She’s not over the top and doesn’t yell, scream or have over exaggerated mannerisms – she’s just normal and I like that. If you have oily skin she has a great series called The Oily Skin Diaries where she reviews foundations as well. Check her out if you haven’t already!
