Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians! I hope you’re enjoying the weekend with lots of food, family/friends/loved ones!
I decided to participate in the The Fall Tag this year; I originally saw this tag on fellow blogger’s My Lip Addiction site and because I have a break from school this week, I actually have some time to do it! In addition to blogging, Cat hosts a weekly podcast that showcases fellow bloggers – it’s super informative and a pleasure to listen to – I recommend checking her out!
Fall is probably my favourite season – I love the cooler temperatures, the cozy clothes, the falling leaves and Pumpkin Spice everything! Unfortunately we only seem to get a few weeks of true Fall here – it’s already snowed here twice in 2 days! 🙁 Once it snows, I don’t consider it Fall anymore, it’s basically Winter. But I’m still going to participate, so let’s jump in to the tag:
What is your favourite Fall colour?
I wear a lot of jewel tones – warmer colours don’t look the best on me. I like burgundy, purple, dark blue and teal.
What is your favourite Fall lip product?
I struggle wearing bold lips – I’m pretty fair and I feel like deeper colours are a bit too intense for my skin tone. One product I’ve been wearing recently is Too Faced’s Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Fig. It’s a mid-tone berry shade with a hint of purple. It’s a really comfortable formula and perfect for Fall IMO.
What is your favourite Fall accessory?
I love a good scarf – Gap makes a good one.
What is your favourite Fall nail polish?
I picked up Essie’s Angora Cardi about a month ago – and it’s quickly become my new favourite polish. I’d describe it as a mauve shade with a hint of beige and it has a fantastic formula. It’s going to take me through Fall and then some.
What is your favourite Fall scent?
Bath & Body Works Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. I have a 3 wick candle in this scent and I’ve been burning it non-stop – it makes my house smell like I’ve just baked a batch of cookies or a cake!
What is your favourite Fall fashion?
A cozy sweater, leggings and booties.
What is your favourite Fall Starbucks drink?
I don’t drink coffee very often as it usually makes me jittery – but I do love a decaf PSL. A Cinnamon Dolce Hot Chocolate hits the spot nicely as well.
What is your favourite thing about Fall?
Definitely Halloween! I love decorating our house, dressing up Maggie in a different costume each year and handing out candy to the kiddos. I also love that I can stay at home and do nothing all day and not feel the least bit guilty about it.
What are you being for Halloween?
I don’t dress up for Halloween – but I do dress up my dog! Maggie is going to be a Viking Girl this year. 😉
What is your favourite fall hairstyle?
Messy bun for sure. My favourite tutorial is this one.

I had no idea that Starbucks did Cinnamon Dolce hot chocolate…that sounds amazing! I’ll have to order that next time.
Oh man, I love the idea of candles that smell like you’re baking fall goodies, but in reality, the sweetness of the scent gives me a huge headache! You’re lucky that they work for you!

YES you need to try the Cinnamon Dolce hot chocolate – it’s so good! It is on the sweeter side though so hopefully you like sweet drinks!
Okay this is weird but I’ve been having a lot of headaches lately and I couldn’t figure out why – now I’m wondering if it’s those darn candles I’ve been burning!?!? I’d be so sad if that’s the case because I love burning them but not worth these headaches I’ve been having t all. :S

Haha, I wrote this post the other day (not posted yet) and I was going to tag you! You must have read my mind! I’m going to link your post to mine when it goes up! I just bought a Halloween costume for Dex the other day! I’ll post pictures on instagram closer to halloween! Max already has one that he didn’t wear last year, so I’m going to dig that out again! Can’t wait to see pictures of Maggie’s costume!

Yay can’t wait to see Dex’s costume! I’m a little sad this year because I have class on Halloween night, so I won’t be able to hand out candy with Maggie. Darren’s been desginated to do it. She’s still going to go to her Halloween party at her doggy daycare though – lol
